Player Bio

Paul Alamoti is an explosive and highly skilled centre and winger for the Penrith Panthers, having joined the club for the 2024 NRL season after making his debut with the Canterbury‑Bankstown Bulldogs in Round 1 of 2023.

A Milperra Colts junior, Alamoti was recognised as a standout talent early in his career, earning selection in the Australian Schoolboys merit team in 2019 and representing New South Wales in the Under‑19s State of Origin in 2022.

In his first season at Penrith, Alamoti played a key role in the Panthers’ historic fourth straight premiership, scoring a crucial try in the 2024 NRL Grand Final victory over the Melbourne Storm. His strong form continued into 2025, where he produced one of the finals series’ standout performances by scoring a hat‑trick in the elimination semi‑final against his former club Canterbury as Penrith won 46–26. He finished the 2025 season with 17 tries in 19 matches and now has 25 tries across his first two years with the Panthers.

Alamoti’s rapid development and impact earned him a contract extension that keeps him at Penrith until the end of the 2027 season. He has also debuted internationally, representing Tonga in 2024–2025.
