Shaylee Bent is a powerful and highly respected NRLW forward, currently starring for the Gold Coast Titans and also representing Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the QRL Women’s Premiership. Known for her strong carries, defensive intensity, and consistent impact on both sides of the ball, she has firmly established herself as one of the competition’s most reliable second‑rowers.

She began her rugby league journey as a teenager with the Glenmore Park Brumbies, progressing through the Tarsha Gale Cup with the Parramatta Eels and Wests Tigers before stepping into senior women’s football with Mounties, where she helped the club win a Grand Final.

Bent made her NRLW debut for the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2019 and played in the Grand Final that same season. Her strong form was recognised in 2020 when she was named the Dragons’ NRLW Player of the Year, cementing her reputation as an elite edge forward.

Since joining the Gold Coast Titans in 2023, Bent has continued to elevate her game and has secured her future at the club through to 2027, becoming a cornerstone of their forward pack.

On the representative stage, Bent has compiled an impressive résumé, featuring for the Indigenous All Stars, New South Wales, Australia, and the Prime Minister’s XIII, earning selection across multiple seasons at the highest levels of the women’s game.

A proud Indigenous athlete, Bent is also recognised for her leadership off the field, contributing to community initiatives and cultural programs that promote Indigenous identity, health, and connection.
