Player Bio

Teagan Berry is one of the NRLW’s most electric and accomplished stars, excelling as a fullback for the St George Illawarra Dragons. Widely known by her nickname “Flash” for her blistering speed, Berry has become the NRLW’s all‑time leading try‑scorer, cementing herself as one of the most dangerous attacking players in the women’s game.

A product of the Shellharbour Stingrays and the Illawarra Steelers pathways, Berry made an immediate impact early in her career, scoring doubles in both the 2019 Tarsha Gale Cup Grand Final and the NSW Under‑18s State of Origin victory. She debuted for the Dragons in 2020 while still at school and has since become the club’s longest‑tenured NRLW player, holding numerous club records including most tries in a match, most points in a match, and most tries and points in a season.

Berry’s 2023 campaign was one of the greatest ever produced by an NRLW outside back. She topped the competition in tries, ranked among the top five in run metres and tackle breaks, earned the RLPA Players’ Champion Award, and was selected in the end‑of‑season Jillaroos squad. Her attacking output has only continued to climb, scoring 8 tries from 9 games in the 2025 season while averaging over 180 run metres per match, a testament to her elite athleticism and consistency.

On the representative stage, Berry has featured for the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII across multiple seasons, continuing to excel against international opposition.

Contracted to the Dragons until the end of 2026, Teagan Berry remains one of the brightest talents in the women’s game, an explosive runner, reliable finisher, and marquee fullback who continues to redefine the standard for NRLW attacking play.
