Player Bio

Ashleigh Quinlan is an experienced and highly skilled playmaker in the NRLW, currently representing the Canterbury‑Bankstown Bulldogs. A natural organiser with a strong running game and sharp kicking and passing instincts, she is comfortable in either the five‑eighth or halfback role and brings valuable leadership to every side she joins.

Quinlan’s path to elite rugby league is unique. Before transitioning full‑time into league, she was a standout Touch Football athlete and a World Cup winner, a background that shaped her footwork, vision, and creativity. She later moved into rugby league and made her NRLW debut with the Parramatta Eels in 2022, helping guide the club to a Grand Final appearance in her maiden season.

In 2023, Quinlan joined the Canberra Raiders for their inaugural NRLW campaign, playing all nine matches and forming a reliable halves pairing that helped establish the new club’s identity. She also broke into the international arena that same year, earning selection for the Kiwi Ferns, where she showcased her versatility by playing in the halves, at dummy-half, and even in the back row across multiple Test matches.

Her strong form continued in 2024 with further representative honours for the New Zealand Māori Ferns, before she moved to the Bulldogs ahead of the 2025 season. There, Quinlan became a senior voice within the squad, producing nine try assists across the season and guiding the team around the park with poise and experience.

A reliable, intelligent, and creative playmaker, Ashleigh Quinlan has built an impressive NRLW résumé across multiple clubs and international teams. Her leadership, adaptability, and game management make her an invaluable asset to both the Bulldogs and the Kiwi Ferns as she continues to influence matches at the highest level.
