Tom Rodwell is an exciting young winger for the Sydney Roosters, known for his speed, finishing ability and strong work ethic. He developed through the Cronulla Sharks system, progressing through Jersey Flegg before becoming a standout performer for the Newtown Jets in the NSW Cup.
Rodwell made his NRL debut in Round 18 of the 2025 season for the Roosters against the Wests Tigers at Allianz Stadium, where he impressed with a high‑energy performance on the wing. His elevation into the Roosters' NRL squad came after an outstanding NSW Cup period, where he had produced 15 tries in 14 games, including a remarkable four‑try haul against Canberra, form that cemented him as one of the competition’s most damaging outside backs.
Tom is the son of former NSW Blues centre Brett Rodwell and the older brother of rising Roosters junior halfback Toby Rodwell, continuing a strong family legacy within the game. In recognition of his growing impact, the Roosters re‑signed him through to the end of 2026, confirming him as part of their long‑term plans in the backline.
