Alex Seyfarth is a hardworking and reliable second‑row forward for the Wests Tigers, now well‑established as a key contributor in the club’s forward pack. A proud Dundas Shamrocks junior, Seyfarth rose through the Balmain development pathways and first caught major attention when he was named the Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg Player of the Year in 2018.
Seyfarth made his NRL debut on 30 May 2020 in Round 3, playing for the Tigers against the Cronulla‑Sutherland Sharks, earning the designation of Wests Tigers Player #232. His junior representative résumé includes playing for the NSW U18s State of Origin side in 2017, helping secure a 35–28 victory over Queensland.
Across the seasons that followed, Seyfarth continued to cement his place as one of the Tigers’ most dependable forwards, known for his high work rate, physicality, and consistency. His breakout 2024 NRL season, where he featured in 23 matches and delivered career‑best form, led to his selection in the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII, marking an important representative milestone in his career.
By 2025, Seyfarth had amassed 91 NRL appearances and 10 tries, establishing himself as one of the Tigers’ most experienced and durable forwards. His leadership and presence in the pack continue to strengthen the club as he enters the prime of his career.
